AAU Summer Teams
Q-Hoops Basketball is proud to offer competitive AAU summer teams: U11 boys and U14/U15 boys. These teams are designed for athletes who are ready to take their game to the next level in a highly competitive environment.
We guarantee participation in six tournaments throughout the summer, with a mix of events in Ontario and the United States. Understanding the busy schedules of families, some tournaments will be within driving distance for a single-day commitment, while others will involve staying for the weekend to maximize the experience.
Our teams provide players with the opportunity to compete against top talent, develop their skills, and grow as athletes and teammates. If your child is ready to push their limits and excel in a competitive setting, Q-Hoops is the perfect place to make it happen!

How many players will you select for the team?
We will be selecting 13 players.
How many practices will there be per week?
We will be running two, 2 hour practices per week during the day.
How much does it cost?
You can expect to pay $800 for registration which includes, practices, uniforms, and tournament fees. Please note that for out of town tournaments families will be responsible for covering the cost of their child's accommodations, however we will do our best as an organization to get discounts on hotels.
When will we know what tournaments we're attending?
We will do our best to give you ample time to plan your summer schedule by letting you know tournaments we will be entering 1-2 months prior. We do however plan on attending 3 tournaments in the US and 3 in Ontario.
Will you have a development team?
For 2025 we will not be offering a development team, however we will be offering private and group sessions for players who want to develop over the summer to prepare them for their next opportunity.
What age does my son need to be for each team?
If your son is going for the U11 team he needs to be born between 2013-2014. If your son is going for the U14/U15 team he needs to be born between 2009-2010. If your son is born under those years but you believe he has the skill to play up, we'd encourage you to still come and tryout.

The cost to try out for one of our AAU summer teams is $25, covering both days of evaluations. Teams will be announced at the end of the second day, giving players and families clarity moving forward. To secure your son’s spot for our AAU summer team tryouts, registration is required. Spaces are limited, and we cannot guarantee all players will have an opportunity to try out if they do not register in advance. The $25 tryout fee can be paid prior to attending via e-transfer to qhoopsbasketball@gmail.com (please make sure you indicate the name of the child in the e-transfer).
